Situated in Bowral NSW, Annesley Bowral is a peaceful and stylish Retirement Living facility, featuring old world charm and high quality finishes. The site was originally a girl’s high school started in the early 1900’s. As part of their ongoing maintenance regime, the air conditioning plant for the centre’s indoor pool required upgrade and replacement.

Works included the survey of the existing mechanical system and pool water system, as the two systems were interlocked via heat exchangers. Detailed measurements and sketches were taken in order that the plantroom architecture, structure, and mechanical systems could be drawn on CAD as no existing drawing were available.

A new 100% outdoor air plant was selected to replace the existing recirculating plant which involved the careful sizing of plant and louvres to coordinate with the existing plantroom and minimise aesthetic disturbance to facades.
